The Sky Rover Optics 2x54 Constellation binoculars are designed for observing extremely wide areas of the night sky. With a magnification of 2× and an impressive 36° field of view, they allow entire constellations and large sections of the Milky Way to be seen in a single glance. This type of instrument is ideal for learning the night sky, scanning star fields, and exploring large celestial regions.
The large 54 mm objective lenses increase the amount of collected light, allowing the observer to see stars approximately 1–2 magnitudes fainter than those visible to the naked eye. Fully multi-coated (FMC) optics improve light transmission and image contrast. The binoculars feature individual focus adjustment for each eyepiece and an interpupillary distance adjustment range from 58 to 81 mm.
The objective lenses are equipped with M56 filter threads, enabling the use of astronomical filters such as UHC filters that enhance the visibility of nebulae. This makes the binoculars useful even under moderate light pollution. The lightweight design makes them suitable not only for astronomical observations but also for daytime viewing and landscape observation.
