The Sky Rover Optics 15x56 APO binoculars belong to the Banner Cloud APO series – advanced roof-prism binoculars designed for demanding nature and astronomical observations. The use of ED glass elements together with an apochromatic optical structure effectively reduces chromatic aberration and delivers accurate colors and high image detail.
The optical system uses high-precision BaK7GT roof prisms with phase and dielectric coatings. All optical surfaces are treated with fully broadband multi-coatings (FBMC), ensuring efficient light transmission. Average transmission reaches approximately 90%, with peak values up to 92%, resulting in bright and contrast-rich images even under challenging lighting conditions.
The Ultra Flat Field optical design improves field curvature correction, maintaining sharpness from the center to the edge of the image. The binoculars provide a wide apparent field of view of approximately 72°, allowing the observer to see a large portion of the scene. The magnesium alloy body combines durability with relatively low weight, while nitrogen filling and sealing protect the optics against moisture and internal fogging.
