The Sky Rover Optics 150 mm ED BINO 45° binoculars represent the largest model in the manufacturer’s giant binocular series. With 150 mm objective lenses and a focal length of 840 mm (F/5.6), the instrument offers an exceptionally large light-gathering capability. The large aperture produces bright images and reveals fine details when observing deep-sky objects, the Moon, and wide areas of the Milky Way.
The optical system uses air-spaced doublet objectives including an ED glass element, effectively reducing chromatic aberration and improving image contrast. A large image-erecting prism system is employed, providing higher light transmission efficiency compared with simple mirror-based systems sometimes used in large astronomical binoculars. All optical surfaces are protected with fully multi-coated (FMC) treatments.
The binoculars accept standard 2" astronomical eyepieces, allowing users to change magnification depending on the observation target. Each optical tube features an individual helical focusing mechanism. The robust magnesium-aluminum alloy body provides excellent rigidity while maintaining resistance to environmental conditions. The binoculars are nitrogen-purged and rated IPX7 for waterproof performance.
