The Sky Rover Optics 150 mm APO BINO 90° binoculars are a large-aperture instrument designed for advanced astronomical observation. With 150 mm objective lenses and a focal length of 840 mm, the binoculars provide very high light-gathering capability, resulting in bright images and excellent detail when observing deep-sky objects, the Moon, and wide star fields. The 90° eyepiece configuration significantly improves comfort when observing objects high in the sky.
The optical system uses air-spaced doublet objectives with an apochromatic design including a Super ED glass element. This reduces chromatic aberration and improves contrast and color fidelity. A large prism system is used for image erection, ensuring efficient light transmission and even illumination of the field of view. The binoculars are compatible with standard 2" astronomical eyepieces, allowing easy magnification changes depending on the observation target.
Each optical tube features independent helical focusing. The magnesium-aluminum alloy body provides excellent structural rigidity and durability. The instrument is nitrogen-purged and rated IPX7 waterproof. Multiple mounting interfaces (1/4" and 3/8") are provided, along with a dedicated mounting point for a finder.
