The Sky Rover Optics 82 mm GIANT BINO 45° binoculars are a compact observing instrument designed for astronomical and nature observations. Based on the 82 APO BINO platform, this model offers a favorable balance between price and optical performance. With 82 mm objective lenses and a focal length of 470 mm, the binoculars provide bright images and good detail visibility when observing star clusters, nebulae, and wide Milky Way star fields. The 45° eyepiece configuration allows comfortable observation of objects located high above the horizon.
The optical system uses air-spaced achromatic doublet objectives. A large prism system ensures efficient use of incoming light and provides evenly illuminated images across the field of view. The binocular design supports interchangeable astronomical eyepieces, allowing magnification to be easily adjusted depending on the observing target.
The instrument accepts standard 1.25" eyepieces. Each optical tube features independent helical focusing. The body is made from magnesium-aluminum alloy, providing high structural rigidity while maintaining moderate weight. The construction includes a portable handle, finder mounting position, and threaded mounting interfaces for secure installation on a tripod or mount.
