The Sky Rover Optics 80 mm APO PRO F/6 apochromatic telescope is a compact refractor designed for both visual observation and wide-field astrophotography. The optical system uses an air-spaced triplet apochromatic objective including a Super ED glass element, providing excellent chromatic aberration correction together with high contrast and sharp image quality.
The new 80APO PRO version has been upgraded compared to the previous design. Improvements include optical optimization, improved finishing quality and updated mechanical construction. Each telescope is delivered with an individual interferometric report confirming the optical performance of the instrument.
The telescope features new dual tube rings with multiple side mounting holes that allow installation of accessories such as guiders or astro computers. A Vixen standard dovetail plate is included together with a patented carrying handle compatible with both Vixen and Arca mounting systems. The 2.5" Rack & Pinion dual-speed focuser includes an M63 thread and a standard 2" interface, and the package also includes a 2" to 1.25" spiral-lock eyepiece adapter.
