The Oberwerk 7 mm 70° eyepiece set is designed specifically for the Oberwerk XL series binocular telescopes, providing maximum resolving power and the highest recommended magnifications for these instruments. The premium 8-element optical design delivers outstanding image quality, a wide 70° apparent field of view, and excellent sharpness all the way to the edge of the field.
While retaining the visual styling of the standard 14 mm eyepieces supplied with XL binoculars, the 7 mm version has a larger diameter. To avoid interference with the nose and to maintain comfortable viewing, these eyepieces feature a tapered upper housing and soft foldable neoprene eyecups. With a true 18 mm eye relief, they are also very well suited for observers who wear glasses. The 1.25" barrels are threaded to accept standard astronomical filters.
Sold as a matched pair, the 7 mm eyepieces are an important upgrade for Oberwerk XL binoculars, allowing users to fully exploit their resolving power and achieve the highest image precision, especially at high magnifications.
