The Oberwerk XL Fork Mount 280 mm (SKU: XLFORK-280) is an extra-robust, smooth-operating fork mount designed specifically for the large Oberwerk BT-120XL-SD and BT-127XL-SD binocular telescopes. Made from black anodized aluminium with red accents, it offers excellent stability and visual consistency with the XL series instruments.
The binocular is secured using a 3/8″ hand knob, supported by two spring-loaded anti-rotation pins that prevent unwanted movement. Unlike the smaller model, the XL-280 features three-position adjustable side plates, allowing precise height adjustment and perfect balance. The BT-120 and BT-127 models are mounted in the central position.
With an internal width of 280 mm and a weight of 3.9 kg, the mount provides outstanding rigidity and exceptionally smooth motion, delivering vibration-free and comfortable observing even at higher magnifications.
