The Oberwerk Sport ED 10×42 binoculars (SKU: SPORT-ED-10x42) are designed for long-distance wildlife observation, providing high magnification, professional-grade optical precision and premium mechanical construction. They are ideal for monitoring raptors, spotting distant wildlife, exploring mountain landscapes and for light astronomical use.
The 8-element optical system with FK-61 ED glass eliminates chromatic aberration, delivering outstanding sharpness and clarity even on distant or backlit subjects. Roof prisms with dielectric and phase-corrected coatings, combined with fully multi-coated optics, ensure bright, high-contrast images with natural color reproduction.
The 10× magnification provides greater detail than 8× models, while the 6.5° true field of view is impressively wide for this class. The 65° AFOV offers an immersive, tunnel-free viewing experience. A 4.2 mm exit pupil and 15 mm eye relief ensure comfort, and the 2 m close-focus capability allows surprisingly detailed near-field observations.
The body is made from lightweight magnesium alloy and armored with dark-green non-slip rubber. The optics chamber is IPX7 waterproof and nitrogen-purged to prevent internal fogging. The central focusing wheel and diopter ring are machined from red anodized aluminium for durability and precision. Twist-up eyecups allow fine adjustment for a perfect viewing position.
