The Oberwerk 8×32 SE ED binoculars (SKU: 8x32-SEED) are a Special Edition model inspired by the renowned Japanese SE designs—known for their superb ergonomics, lightweight construction and exceptional viewing comfort. This updated version incorporates FK-61 ED low-dispersion glass, which eliminates chromatic aberration and delivers crisp, high-contrast, color-accurate images.
The 8×32 SE features an exceptionally wide 8.2° field of view, even wider than the original SE series, making it perfect for panoramic landscape viewing, wildlife observation and wide-field astronomy. Despite being the smallest and lightest binocular in the SE lineup, it is built from durable materials and equipped with a precise central focusing system capable of focusing as close as 3 meters.
All air-to-glass surfaces are fully broadband multi-coated, and the binocular is waterproof and nitrogen-purged to withstand humidity, rain and rapid temperature changes without internal fogging.
