The Oberwerk 82XL-ED 82 mm ED binocular telescope (SKU: 82XL-ED) offers a professional balance of optical performance and portability within the XL series. Its 82 mm ED FK-61 objectives, 24 mm free-aperture prisms and fully waterproof, nitrogen-filled magnesium alloy body deliver bright, sharp and color-accurate images—even at magnifications up to 64×.
With a 450 mm focal length, the binocular comes with Oberwerk 14 mm eyepieces providing 32× magnification, a 70° apparent field and a 2.2° true field of view. The 18 mm eye relief and 2.5 mm exit pupil ensure comfortable viewing even for eyeglass wearers.
The 1.25" helical focusers allow compatibility with standard astronomical eyepieces, expanding magnification options. Despite its generous aperture, the instrument weighs only 4.67 kg, making it easy to transport. The adjustable IPD range of 50–80 mm accommodates a wide variety of users.
