The Oberwerk 25×100 ED Ultra (SKU: 25x100ED-ULTRA) is the largest and most powerful binocular in the Ultra Series, offering the highest image quality available before moving into the XL binocular telescope line. Its ED FK-61 low-dispersion objectives greatly reduce chromatic aberration, delivering crisp, bright and high-contrast images even at high 25× magnification.
The wide 2.63° true field of view (66° AFOV) remains sharp across the entire field, making this binocular ideal for deep-sky observing, rich star fields, nebulae, open clusters and dramatic wide-angle lunar views. Optically, it rivals the performance of the BT-100XL-ED with 22 mm eyepieces (25×) at roughly one-third of the cost.
The construction is fully rubber-armored metal, waterproof, and built with floating prism mounts and reinforced hinged objective housings. Individual focus (IF) on each eyepiece ensures precise adjustment. All air-to-glass surfaces, including the prisms, are fully broadband multi-coated for maximum light transmission.
Due to its effective eye relief of 10–17 mm, this model is not recommended for eyeglass wearers; however, individual focusing compensates well for common vision differences.
