The Fenix E01 V2.0 LED flashlight is an ultra-compact EDC keychain light that, in its updated version, delivers a 100-lumen output, three useful brightness levels, increased beam distance and an energy-efficient driver with no standby current draw. Thanks to its small size and single AAA power source, it is an ideal everyday keychain light or backup flashlight.

The Fenix E01 V2.0 body is made from hardened aluminum with a hard-anodized HAIII finish, making the tube and head resistant to wear, scratches and mechanical impacts. The updated model is 5 mm shorter, improving handling and pocket carry. The flashlight weighs only 13 g, which is almost half the weight of a typical AA cell. Knurled surfaces enhance grip and help prevent the light from slipping out of the hand. The light is activated and modes are changed by twisting the head, allowing comfortable one-handed operation.
The light source is a high-efficiency Cree XP-G2 (S3) LED. In high mode it provides 100 lumens, 304 cd of peak beam intensity and a beam distance of up to 35 m. An ultra-thin collimating lens produces a wide, evenly distributed beam that comfortably illuminates the user’s immediate surroundings.
The E01 V2.0 offers three brightness levels: low, medium and high. In high mode the flashlight runs for up to 50 minutes, while low mode (5 lumens) provides up to 25 hours of continuous light. A 5-lumen output is sufficient for everyday tasks such as illuminating a handbag, toolbox, keyhole or lock without draining the battery quickly.
The flashlight is powered by a single AAA alkaline battery, which can also be replaced by a Ni-MH rechargeable cell. This power configuration ensures low operating cost, easy battery availability and negligible weight in everyday carry. The long runtime is achieved thanks to a driver that draws no current in standby – the battery is not discharged while the flashlight is off.
The E01 V2.0 is operated via a rotary head switch. Twisting the head turns the light on and allows cycling through brightness levels. The minimalist interface and one-handed operation make it perfect for simple everyday use, when quick access to light is all that is needed.
The flashlight incorporates thermal protection to safeguard the optical system and LED. In high mode, when the LED produces more heat, the driver automatically reduces output slightly to stabilize the operating temperature. The IP68 rating ensures full protection against dust and dirt, complete submersion in water (up to 2 m) and drops from a height of 1 m.
The Fenix E01 V2.0 is a lightweight and handy flashlight with an efficient light output, ideal for everyday EDC use as well as a backup/emergency light.
