It is the smallest and most portable model in the EclipSmart series—lightweight, easy to carry and compact enough to fit into a pocket, handbag, or car compartment.
The key feature of this binocular is its permanently integrated Solar Safe filters, providing complete protection for the eyes by blocking UV and IR radiation as well as 99.999% of visible light. Unlike removable filters, they cannot loosen, detach, or shift during use, ensuring maximum safety. The binocular complies with ISO 12312-2:2015(E), the international standard for direct solar observation.
Fully multi-coated optics deliver a sharp, contrast-rich white-light solar image—showing the full solar disc in crisp black-and-white tones. A rubber-armored aluminium body protects the instrument from damage, while fold-down eyecups ensure comfortable use both with and without eyeglasses.
