The NYX88 Half Pier for Pegasus Astro Carbon Tripod (PegasusAstro, SKU: PEG-HP88-NYX-TRPD) is a dedicated 18 cm pier extension designed specifically for use with the Pegasus Astro NYX-88 harmonic mount and the Pegasus Astro carbon tripod PEG-TRPD88.

By increasing the clearance between the telescope and tripod legs, the half pier effectively prevents potential collisions during GoTo slews and tracking, especially when using longer optical tubes or operating the mount in equatorial mode.

The half pier is supplied as a complete mounting kit, including all required adapters and three standoff rods. The design supports up to six standoffs in total, allowing additional rigidity and stability by adding three optional rods (SKU: PEG-STDOFF-RODS).
