The NYX88 Half Pier for EQ6 steel tripod (PegasusAstro, SKU: PEG-HP88-EQ6-TRPD) is a dedicated 18 cm pier extension designed for use with the Pegasus Astro NYX-88 harmonic mount and classic steel EQ6-type tripods.

By increasing the vertical clearance between the telescope and tripod legs, the half pier effectively prevents potential collisions during slewing and tracking, especially when using longer optical tubes or operating in equatorial mode.

The half pier is supplied as a complete mounting kit, including all required adapters and three standoff rods for assembly. The design supports up to six standoffs in total, allowing additional rigidity by adding three optional rods (SKU: PEG-STDOFF-RODS) if needed.
