Daystar Filters ERF 80 mm (glass + cell + 120 mm ID cap) – for refractor (SKU: E-120N80) is an Energy Rejection Filter designed for refractor telescopes used in hydrogen-alpha solar observing systems. Mounted at the front of the telescope, the filter reduces the thermal load entering the optical system by absorbing or reflecting ultraviolet and infrared radiation while transmitting the visible spectrum required for H-alpha solar observation.
