The PrimaLuceLab SPIDER 300A MarkII radio telescope (SKU: SPIDER300A) is an advanced 3-meter antenna system designed for operation in the 1420 MHz band. Designed for schools, universities, science museums, and educational institutions, it combines high sensitivity and precision with intuitive operation. Thanks to next-generation electronics and improved mechanics, it enables true radio astronomy without the need for specialized knowledge. The price listed is for the basic version – more advanced systems are also available, and are discussed individually via email.

The lead time and installation costs of SPIDER radio telescopes are discussed individually, depending on the selected configuration and installation location.

Key features

• WEB300-5 parabolic antenna with a diameter of 3 m with a lightweight, mesh construction and special reinforcements
• H-FEED illuminator optimized for 1420 MHz frequency, supporting LHCP and RHCP polarizations, with two LNA amplifiers
• GS-100II guidance system (alt-az, waterproof) with N-ACU control unit, communication up to 100 m (MoF option up to 2 km via optical fiber)
• fast antenna movement – speed up to 2°/s in each axis
• massive C106-HEAVY pole for installation on a concrete foundation, ensuring the stability of the set
• industrial operating temperature range from -25°C to +55°C
• H142-PRO receiver (radiometer and spectrometer) with 50 MHz band and 1024 channels
• RadioUniversePRO software for Windows 10/11 for system control and data acquisition
