The Chroma S-II 5 nm 50 mm Unmounted (SKU: CT-27010-50D) is a large format narrowband filter designed for astrophotography of emission nebulae. The 5 nm band effectively isolates the S-II sulfur line at 672.4 nm, providing high image contrast while maintaining high light transmission, which shortens exposure times and makes the filter suitable for faster optics.
