The Sky-Watcher Esprit 70EDX apochromatic telescope is the smallest OTA in the Esprit EDX series, designed for portable astrophotography. The triplet objective lens with FCD100 element provides excellent chromatic aberration correction, while the mechanically enhanced 2.8" focuser with 360° rotation allows for precise camera alignment. Its compact design and f/7 aperture make it ideal for field work and can be easily integrated with the 0.92x corrector (#20332), providing a flat field and f/6.4 aperture. • triplet APO lens with FCD100 element • f/7 aperture – can be shortened to f/6.4 with 0.92× corrector • MHTC coatings (Metallic High-Transmission Coatings) • 2.8" focuser with 1:11 microfocus and 360° rotation • 2" connector and threaded connection for equalizers • aluminum tube with internal diaphragms • retractable anti-condensation cover • clamps with handle and mounting rail in the Vixen GP standard • compact dimensions and low weight – ideal for mobile applications • Esprit 70EDX optical tube • tube clamps with carrying handle • Vixen GP mounting rail • transport case with aluminum frame and foam filling • not included: glasses, angle, corrector and finder • lens diameter: 70 mm • focal length: 490 mm • light power: f/7 • lens type: apochromatic triplet with FCD100 • coatings: MHTC • focuser: rack and pinion and linear 2.8" with 1:11 microfocus • rotation: 360° (extractor sleeve) • output connector: 2" + thread for correctors • transport length: 368 mm • length with the cover extended: 420 mm • tube weight: 3.2 kg
