The TMS-Astro EQ Platform 55°–60° (visual observing) is a precision equatorial wedge designed for Dobsonian telescopes up to 14–16" in diameter. It allows for automatic tracking of celestial objects in single-axis (RA) mode, eliminating the need to manually correct the telescope's position during observations. Thanks to a segment designed for operation in the 55°–60° latitude range, the platform is ideal for use in Northern European countries. The aluminum construction guarantees high stiffness at a low weight, and the intelligent controller with auto-reset function ensures comfortable and maintenance-free operation for over 60 minutes per cycle. The platform can be adapted to a different latitude range at any time by replacing the segments, which are available as separate accessories.
