The TMS-Astro EQ Platform 40°–45° (photography) is a precision dual-axis equatorial wedge designed for astrophotography with Dobsonian telescopes up to 14–16" in diameter. It allows for simultaneous tracking on the RA and DEC axes and works with an autoguider via the ST4 port. The version with a 40°–45° segment is ideal for use in many countries in southern and central Europe. The platform is equipped with an automatic homing system, an assisted polar alignment procedure, and adjustable tracking speed. Interchangeable segments allow for subsequent adaptation to a different latitude range. • photographic version with guidance in two axes (RA + DEC) • optimized for latitudes 40°–45° • autoguider support (ST4 port, 1× starspeed speed) • auto-homing and auto-reset procedure • polar alignment assistant mode • aluminum, rigid structure with increased working height • possibility of smooth adjustment of tracking speed by ±3% • very quiet operation, with sound and light signals • possibility of exchanging segments and adapting to a different range of geographical latitudes • TMS-Astro EQ Platform 40°–45° (photographic) • a set of geographic segments for the 40°–45° range • 3 adjustable feet • 3 plastic stops and a set of mounting screws • user manual • dimensions: 593 × 608 × 146 mm • weight: 9 kg • supply voltage: 12–17 V DC • current consumption: 500 mA • maximum load: 70 kg • tracking time: over 60 minutes • operating mode: two-axis (RA + DEC) • autoguider port: ST4 • control: DIP-switch + multi-function button • indicators: LED + sound signals • power supply: external 12 V or 14.8 V battery (7000 mAh, optional) • material: aluminum, plastic • color: black / silver (depending on the series) 24 months
