The William Optics Ultra-Cat 76 WIFD is an advanced apochromatic telescope designed for wide-angle astrophotography. The 76mm objective lens features a five-element Petzval optical system , incorporating two Super ED glass elements, ED glass, lanthanum glass, and a specially profiled X-Element. This design ensures a flat field and sharp stars right out to the edge of the frame, without the need for additional flatteners. The telescope offers a large 50mm image circle diameter , allowing it to be used with full-frame, APS-C, M4/3, and medium-format cameras. Its fast f/4.8 optics enable the capture of deep-sky objects with short exposure times. The WIFD (William's Internal Focuser Design) focuser utilizes an internal rack and pinion mechanism to eliminate balance shifting during focusing and guarantee smooth, stable focusing. The built-in Sensor Tilt Xterminator rotator allows for precise correction of the camera's sensor tilt angle, and the built-in Bahtinov mask facilitates quick and accurate focusing on stars. • 76 mm Advanced Petzval lens (5 elements)
