The Vector Optics Maverick III is a magnifier designed for use with Picatinny rail-mounted red dot sights. It provides three-fold magnification with a wide field of view – approximately 18 meters at 100 meters. This wide range allows for observation and firing at medium distances without losing focus. The optical system utilizes lenses with a multi-layer FMC coating, improving light transmission and reducing reflections. The 70 mm eye relief allows for comfortable use with eye protection, even under heavier recoil. The tube is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and coated with a rubber layer for increased impact resistance. The kit includes a flip-to-side mount with a locking mechanism (Vector Optics SCTM-17), which allows for quick switching between magnification and non-magnification operation without changing the reticle's position.
