The Vector Optics Forester 1–5x24 FDE running scope is designed for dynamic shooting. At 1x magnification, it allows for binocular aiming, which speeds up target acquisition, while at maximum 5x magnification, it allows for precise fire at medium distances. It features a VFD-2 secondary field of view (SFP) reticle and a red dot with 11 brightness adjustments. The housing, made of 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, is shock-resistant up to 750 G and meets the IPX4 waterproof standard. The scope's interior is nitrogen-filled, preventing the optics from fogging. The Flat Dark Earth color facilitates integration with modern weapon systems and equipment.
