The Vector Optics Taurus 5–30x56 riflescope is an advanced variable-focus scope designed for demanding sports shooters and hunters. Its MPX1 ballistic reticle is located in the first focal plane (FFP), allowing for proportional scaling of the reticle with magnification. The illuminated reticle has six brightness levels, with an OFF function between modes. The scope's image is sharp and contrasty thanks to the FMC coating and very low dispersion.

The scope's housing is crafted from durable 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, which, combined with nitrogen gas purging and a sealed design, ensures resistance to water and internal fogging. The scope withstands shocks up to 1000G, and adjustments are made via open ballistic turrets with a precision of 1/10th of a mil per click. The product is covered by the manufacturer's T-VIP lifetime warranty.
