A set of modern photometric filters compatible with the Bessel standard and the Johnson UBVRI system, commonly used in professional and amateur astronomy. These filters meet modern quality requirements, ensuring full compatibility with the classic U, B, V, R, I band system. Each filter passes a specific wavelength band with a standardized half-width (HBW), which guarantees comparability of results regardless of the equipment used, e.g. CCD matrix characteristics. UBVRI filters are particularly useful for variable star photometry and are widely used in projects such as the AAVSO. Observations through different filters allow precise determination of the amount of radiation in different spectral regions. This allows the determination of color indices, which are used to estimate the surface temperature, spectral class, and evolutionary stage of the observed star. • U band (ultraviolet): approx. 320 – 400 nm • B band (blue): approx. 400 – 500 nm • V band (green/visible): approx. 500 – 700 nm • R band (red): approx. 550 – 800 nm • band I (near infrared): approx. 700 – 900 nm • size: 50 × 50 mm • frame: none (filters unframed) • spectral classification: band (Johnson-Bessel UBVRI system) • application: astronomical photometry • observational objects: variable stars • spectral range (CWL): according to Bessel specification • bandwidth (HBW): consistent with the UBVRI system definition • anti-reflective coatings: Reflex-Blocker™ • set weight: 370 g
