Following the enthusiastic reception of the Seestar S30 model, ZWO presented its new, enhanced version – the Seestar S30 Pro – during the NEAF 2025 exhibition. This advanced electronic telescope combines a compact design, high-quality optics, and intelligent control features, making it an excellent tool for both beginners and advanced astrophotography enthusiasts.
Like its predecessor, the Seestar S30 Pro integrates an alt-azimuth mount, an ASIAIR computer, and apochromatic ED optics into a single, self-contained device. The new version, however, introduces a number of improvements, including an even more precise tracking system, enhanced leveling algorithms, and expanded options for image capture and processing without the need for external accessories.
Image acquisition is handled by a modern, low-noise Sony IMX585 sensor based on Sony Starvis™ technology, widely used in professional astrophotography equipment.
All functions are operated wirelessly via an intuitive mobile application, while built-in sensors automatically assist with leveling and calibration of the system.
