ZWO ASI 585 MM is a compact astronomical camera dedicated to planetary astrophotography. This model was developed as a successor to the ASI 485 MC camera, featuring improved sensitivity in the <850 nm range, as well as increased capacity of the potential well.
The heart of this camera is the monochrome Sony IMX585 matrix, using Sony Starvis 2™ technology, thanks to which it is characterized by extremely high sensitivity in both the visible and near infrared range. This sensor is also characterized by a negligible level of readout noise, as well as the absence of the amp glow effect. In combination with an advanced 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, this guarantees breathtaking results in almost any conditions.
The whole thing is enclosed in a light and compact housing made of aluminum and finished in the red color typical of ZWO products. • a low-noise monochrome camera designed for planetary astrophotography • very large capacity of the potential well • Sony IMX585 matrix using the latest Sony Starvis 2™ technology free from the amp glow effect • 256 MB DDR3 read buffer • 12-bit ADC for wide dynamic range • matrix: Sony IMX585 (monochrome) • matrix type: CMOS with Sony Starvis 2™ technology • matrix size: 11.1 x 6.3 mm (1 / 1.2" format), diagonal 12.84 mm • matrix resolution: 8.29 MPix, 3840 x 2160 px • single pixel size: 2.9 µm • Potential well capacity: 38.7 ke • minimum reading noise: 0.7 e • peak quantum efficiency: 91% • backfocus: 6.5 / 17.5 mm • ADC: 12bit • Read Buffer: 256 MB DDR3 • maximum frame rate: 46.9 fps • ports: USB 3.0, ST-4 • cooling system: none • connector: M42 x 0.75 • diameter: 62 mm • length: 31 mm • weight: TBD • ZWO ASI 585 MM camera • 1.25" cap • 2" cap • 1.25" nose • ST-4 cable • USB 3.0 cable (2m) • documentation 24 months
