A 23mm focal length eyepiece with a huge 82-degree field of view, equal in this respect to the famous Nagler eyepieces. The Luminos 23mm is a 6-element design enclosed in an anodized aluminum body. A rubber ring is placed on the eyepiece allowing for a firm grip. The distance between the exit pupil and the eyepiece is 20mm, which guarantees adequate comfort of observation even for people wearing prescription glasses. The eyepiece has a standard 2” filter mount.

Luminos series eyepieces provide a very well corrected image even in telescopes with a light intensity of about f/5.

The 23mm focal length allows you to observe various types of objects. In most telescopes, this eyepiece provides small magnifications ideal for viewing the sky. For example, in the SW 120/600 refractor, this eyepiece will provide 26x magnification with a huge, for a telescope, real field of view of about 3.15° - with these parameters, we can try to observe extensive deep-sky objects. The field of view will include such large objects as the Andromeda Galaxy, the Pleiades or the entire Veil nebula complex.

Such a large field of view is also a great convenience for beginners observing the night sky, who will find it easier to find subsequent objects. All Luminos series eyepieces are mutually parfocal and when changing the eyepiece in the telescope extension tube, they do not require a significant change in focus.
