7mm focal length eyepiece with a huge 82-degree field of view, equal in this respect to the famous Nagler eyepieces. The 7-element optical system is mounted in an anodized aluminum body covered with a rubber ring. The eyepiece has a standard 1.25" filter mount. The distance between the exit pupil and the eyepiece is 12mm, which guarantees the appropriate comfort of observation.
Luminos series eyepieces provide a very well corrected image even in telescopes with a light intensity of about f/5.
The eyepiece can be used for planetary observations, especially in the case of telescopes with a longer focal length. For example, for the BK MAK 150 OTAW telescope, the Luminos 7mm will give a magnification of 257x, optimal for observing planets during nights with good seeing. All Luminos series eyepieces are mutually parfocal and do not require a significant change in focus when changing the eyepiece in the telescope's extension tube. • series: Luminos • eyepiece focal length: 7 mm • apparent field of view: 82° • Diaphragm diameter: 15 mm • eyepiece optical system: hybrid • exit pupil distance: 12 mm • number of lenses/groups: 7/ • coatings: FMC • eyecup: unscrewable • Frame diameter: 1.25" • weight: 340 g
