0.77x focal reducer designed for the Sky-Watcher Esprit 120 tube.
It is used to reduce the focal length by a factor of 0.77x, improving field correction. At the same time, thanks to the shortened focal length, the telescope's light intensity increases to f/5.4, which in turn shortens the exposure time by 68% and increases the field of view. This three-element reducer guarantees a fully illuminated circle of light with a size of 34 mm, especially suitable for APS-C size sensors.
By using the Canon EOS / M48x0.75 or NIKON M48x0.75 adapter we can connect the camera to the reducer. The working distance (back focus) with the included M48 adapter is 55 mm, after removing the adapter we expose the internal M71x1 thread with a maximum back focus of 75 mm for custom-made adapters.
