The Player One Active Cooling System (ACS) is an external air cooling module designed for this brand's cameras, which are standardly equipped only with a passive cooling system (PCS). Thanks to active air circulation, ACS effectively lowers the temperature of the camera housing and sensor, thus reducing thermal noise - especially when working in high ambient temperatures. The ACS system is based on a quiet Maglev fan and a high-performance heat sink, which allows the temperature difference between the sensor and the environment to be maintained at just 7°C – even during daytime sessions, such as solar imaging.
