Askar 151PHQ APO 151/1057 f/7 is a professional astrograph dedicated to advanced astrophotographers as well as to enthusiasts of visual observations.
The heart of this telescope is a four-element, apochromatic optics with an air gap. In order to ensure the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations, Askar designers opted for a solution known from the most expensive, flagship apochromats, namely the use of two lenses made of glass with reduced dispersion (ED). In addition to excellent color reproduction, the Askar 151PHQ APO 151/1057 f/7 is characterized by maintaining a negligible field curvature, thanks to which even without the use of an additional flattener, the image on the edge of the frame is free from noticeable distortions.
The capabilities of this telescope are not limited to astrophotography alone. This instrument allows for visual observations by attaching a diagonal or eyepieces.
In addition to impeccable optical parameters, the Askar 151PHQ APO 151/1057 f/7 is distinguished by high quality and precision of mechanical elements. A solid extension allows for mounting even the heaviest astronomical cameras, and mounting rings and a Losmandy foot made in CNC technology guarantee full stability of the tube. • high-class astrograph with two low-dispersion lenses that eliminate chromatic aberrations • advanced optical design guaranteeing excellent field curvature correction without the need for an additional flattener • four-element adapter enabling connection of various cameras or camcorders • Full illumination disc diameter ensuring full frame and medium format matrix coverage • can also be used in visual observations • optical design: apochromatic refractor • lens system: ED quadruplet with air gap • number of low dispersion lenses: two • Front lens diameter (aperture): 151 mm • focal length: 1057 mm • light intensity: f/7 • diameter of the full illumination disc: 60 mm • compatibility with full-frame matrices: yes • adapter for connecting a camera/camcorder: four-piece • back focus in astrophotography (from the base of the M48x0.75 thread): 78 mm • back focus in visual observations (from 1.25" eyepiece frame): 119 mm • possibility of mounting a filter: yes, with M48x0.75 thread in the M54x0.75 - M48x0.75 adapter • diameter of the extractor: 3.4" • lift type: rack & pinion, dual speed • rotator: yes, 360° • mounting bracket: Losmandy foot 300 mm • maximum tube length with unfolded dew shield: 1164.3 mm • tube weight without accessories: 11.6 kg • weight of the tube with accessories: 13.7 kg • Askar 151PHQ APO 151/1057 f/7 optical tube • mounting clamps • Losmandy foot 300 mm • four-piece photo adapter • aluminum transport box • documentation 24 months
