The William Optics RedCat 91mm WIFD is the flagship model in the CAT series, which, thanks to the use of the best available materials and precise workmanship, allows you to obtain incredibly sharp, contrast and detailed astrophotography photos.
The heart of this telescope is a five-element optics with a light intensity of f/4.9 made in the Petzval system. A characteristic feature of this model is the use of two Super ED glass lenses, supplemented by an ED and fluorite lens. Such an optics design makes the image obtained of impeccable quality both in the center and on the edge of the field of view, while at the same time perfectly correcting chromatic aberration.
This telescope complements the William Optics range of instruments equipped with the WIFD ( William Optics Internal Focus Design ) focuser with internal focusing. This patented solution allows maintaining perfect linearity even when large SLRs or heavy astronomical cameras are installed, thus minimizing the risk of unwanted vignetting to zero. The focuser is also compatible with the WO EAF automatic focusing system.
