Celestron Wedge Evolution / SE - 6" / 8" is designed for Celestron NexStar Evolution 6/8/9.25 and NexStar SE 6/8 Alt-Az computerized mounts. By tilting the azimuth axis to align with the Earth’s polar axis, the wedge converts the Alt-Az mount into an equatorial platform, eliminating field rotation and enabling long-exposure astrophotography as well as autoguiding.
