The Artesky Flat Box uses EDGE-LIT technology, so called because the various groups of LEDs are distributed along the sides of the panel, perpendicular to each other and not in a circular fashion. This allows for a flat box that is compact but at the same time very solid, in fact the external surface is scratch-proof and dirt-proof and furthermore, it allows for use even in the most extreme conditions. The Flat Box was designed with the aim of eliminating the defects that usually accompany classic electroluminescent or circular LED panels. Light guides allow you to illuminate the remaining areas, ensuring perfect uniformity without shadows or drops in light at the edges. The mechanics of the Flat Box are very solid and its soul is completely made of metal, this is to avoid any bending of the surface. On the back there is a digital voltmeter for relative intensity indication and for the ON/OFF status and a USB socket for connection to your computer. The new V4 version includes new electronics with improved consumption and precise intensity regulation and a new type of LED panel that guarantees a brightness difference from the center to the edge of the usable panel of no more than 5%. The Artesky USB FLAT BOX can be used with the dedicated software, all commands are carried out with the USB interface below. You will be able to turn your FLAT BOX on/off from your PC, ideal for those who own a remote telescope or for extra convenience in the field. The brightness values are more precise than the normal FLAT BOX, they vary from 0 to 255 and are customizable for each shooting channel: LRGB-HA-OIII-SII For each recording channel you can also set the exposure time in seconds.
