Photos from description

Artesky 2" 1.0× field flattener for f/5–f/8 refractors (Artesky, SKU: ARTFLAT2) reduces refractor field curvature without changing focal length. Its long working distance leaves room for additional imaging equipment such as an off-axis guider or filter wheel.

Key features

• field correction without focal reduction
• designed for f/5–f/8 refractors
• generous corrector-to-sensor spacing

Included items

• product: Artesky 2" 1.0× field flattener for f/5–f/8 refractors

Technical specifications

• factor: 1.0×
• mounting standard: 2"
• imaging connection: M48
• usable field diameter: up to 40 mm
• recommended sensor format: up to APS-C
• working distance: 108–128 mm, depending on focal length

Approximate distances from the M48 thread to the sensor: focal length below 450 mm — 128 mm; 450–490 mm — 123 mm; 500–550 mm — 118 mm; 560–590 mm — 116 mm; 600–690 mm — 113 mm; 700–800 mm — approximately 111 mm. For longer focal lengths, the manufacturer specifies 108 mm. Check the final setting using star images.

The flattener improves edge-of-frame star images while retaining the refractor’s focal length.
