The Holosun HS503GU is a red dot sight equipped with a 2 MOA aiming dot with a 65 MOA circle, with the option to switch to a 2 MOA dot only. The "G" designates the side battery placement, while the "U" refers to the design of the housing protecting the adjustment turrets.
The efficient LED and optimized electronics allow for up to 50,000 hours of operation on a single CR2032 battery at medium brightness setting.
The lenses are made of optical glass and are covered with multi-layer reflective coatings, ensuring excellent light transmission and a clear, distortion-free image.
The Multi Reticle System allows you to choose from three reticle markings: a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, or a combination. Changing the reticle is done without losing zero, allowing you to adapt the sight to your weapon type and distance.
The Solar Failsafe system supports battery power and automatically adjusts the spot's brightness to suit lighting conditions. You can also disable automatic mode and manually set one of 10 brightness levels for daylight or two levels for night vision.
Shake Awake technology is responsible for energy saving - the collimator goes into sleep mode after a programmed time, and a slight movement of the weapon is enough to reactivate it.
