Utilizing a high torque harmonic drive and a compact design, these mounts deliver high precision and power in a compact head. With unique features not available in other wave heads, the Sky-Watcher Wave series continues to expand the already very popular Sky-Watcher family of astronomical mounts.
With a payload capacity of 15kg (25kg with optional counterweight kit), the Wave 150i is extremely compact and lightweight (5.8kg) and comes in a durable foam case, perfect for transport. Sky-Watcher Wave heads also offer EQ and AZ tracking modes with RA and Dec home positions, hybrid Vixen saddles, a 0 to 90 degree latitude range, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, RA power off safety brake, 12V 2A power supply (not included), and red backlighting on the latitude and bubble scales to aid the alignment process. • Cable management:
Designed for serious astrophotography, the Wave 150i mount features through-mount cabling and a powered hub built into the saddle, featuring ports for autoguiding, Dec USB and 2 Dec outputs. The RA hub is located at the rear of the mount and remains stationary, keeping cabling tidy and tangle-free.
