The Maksutov optical system is one of the most highly regarded optical designs, widely appreciated for its mobility, ease of use and multifunctionality. It is an excellent choice for astronomical observations, as well as terrestrial and aircraft observations. Excellent optics provide exceptionally sharp images throughout the field of view. The telescope consists of a meniscus corrector plate, a primary mirror and a secondary mirror placed on the inner part of the meniscus. These telescopes have reduced coma and exhibit only residual chromatic aberration, giving very sharp and clear images. The great advantage of Maksutov telescopes is their compact and compact design and low weight.
