Holosun ARO CORE Red Dot 2 MOA FDE enclosed reflex sight (SKU: ARO-CORE-RD2-FDE / 48867) is a compact reflex sight from the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic) series, featuring a red 2 MOA dot. Its enclosed construction protects the internal optical components from contamination. The 22 mm optical window, 1× magnification and unlimited eye relief allow aiming with both eyes open.
The lenses feature multilayer optical coatings. Dot brightness is adjusted manually using two buttons on top of the housing. There are 12 illumination levels available: 10 daylight settings and 2 compatible with night vision devices. The memory function retains the last brightness setting.
Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery in a slide-out side tray. Battery replacement does not require removing the sight from the firearm. Shake Awake turns off the dot after a period without movement and automatically restores illumination when motion is detected. The stated operating time on one battery is up to 50,000 hours at brightness setting 6.
The aluminum housing in FDE (Flat Dark Earth) is protected by an MAO finish produced through micro-arc oxidation. The construction meets the IP67 protection rating against dust and water. Two Picatinny mounts are included: a high mount providing a 41.4 mm optical axis height for Lower 1/3 Co-Witness, and a low mount providing an optical axis height of approximately 26.7 mm. The housing uses the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 mounting footprint.
