Levenhuk DTX DX50 Digital Magnifier is a compact tool that makes it easy to work with small print, illustrations or small objects. It can be useful for people with visual impairments, handicraft enthusiasts, as well as professionals from various fields to control the quality of tasks requiring precision. The device has a special feature: the ability to change the color scheme of the image. There are a total of 7 palettes available (monochrome and color). Using color palettes makes it easier for users to read text with low contrast sensitivity, both with limited and normal visual acuity.
The magnifier has two cameras: the closer 1 MP camera is used to read and observe objects, and the far 5 MP camera is used like a regular digital camera. In far camera mode, color palettes are not applied and the image is displayed in full color.
Working with a digital magnifier is simple: place it over the page/detail and then move it as you study the object. The enlarged image is displayed on the device's LCD screen, where you can view it conveniently and in detail. If necessary, the magnifier can be connected to an external screen, computer or TV. This allows you to read the image or text in more detail and conduct a presentation.
