The SVBONY SV209 0.8x reducer and flattener is a dedicated accessory for the SVBONY SV550 122 mm F/7 telescope. It guarantees excellent field correction and shortening the focal length, which is very desirable in astrophotography, allowing to expand the field of view of the optical instrument.

This reducer reduces the focal length by a factor of 0.8x, which in the case of the SVBONY SV550 122 mm F/7 astrograph gives a value of 683 mm at f/5.6. Such parameters allow not only to take breathtaking photos in a wide field of view, but above all to significantly shorten the exposure time. To ensure the highest image quality with high contrast and detail, all reducer lenses are covered with a full multi-layer coating (FMC).

The optical system of the reducer is enclosed in a durable housing made of aluminum protected by hard anodizing.
