Celestron StarSense Autoguider is a comprehensive solution that makes using your telescope easier and more satisfying than ever. This powerful, compact device connects to a Celestron mount to increase its tracking accuracy and help you create sharp, long exposures with ease. Whether you are an experienced astrophotographer or just starting your journey in this hobby, Celestron StarSense Autoguider will significantly increase the quality of your observations and photography. StarSense Autoguider does the night sky alignment in about three minutes for you - no data input required. Celestron's patented StarSense technology recognizes star patterns through the camera and matches them with an internal database to automatically align the telescope. This feature eliminates the hassle of manually aligning the telescope, so you can focus on what's important - observing and shooting. Astrophotography is one of the most exciting things you can do with a telescope. But to create stunning deep sky astrophotography, you need autoguiding - the ability to make tiny adjustments to the mount tracking to keep the subject perfectly in view for long exposures. Guiding setups are usually complex, requiring a separate guide camera, spotting scope and control computer. StarSense Autoguider replaces all of this - so even beginners can immerse themselves in the world of photography. StarSense Autoguider features a high-quality 4-element optical design designed by renowned optical designer Mark Ackermann. Its unique design provides sharper images than guide scopes. The optical tube has a thread for installing 2-inch astronomical filters, e.g. using an IR-pass filter, you can align the installation at dusk. The device also includes a built-in computer and a highly sensitive Sony IMX290-DLL monochrome CMOS image sensor, all working together to provide exceptional tracking accuracy. Advanced users will love customizing autoguiding settings with advanced CPWI settings. You can enable dithering options to slightly shift the montage between camera sub-exposures, which can help your imaging software work at its best. You can also track comets via CPWI. Simply select a comet from the software's regularly updated database of over 100,000 objects. Guidance directly behind the comet will give better results than guidance using nearby stars. You decide how you want to control StarSense Autoguider. Works with the NexStar+ handheld controller, software to control the CPWI telescope via a wired connection to a PC or WiFi. Autoguider also works with the rest of Celestron's accessories to create a consistent solution that fits perfectly into your telescopic setup. WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT STARSENSE AUTOGUIDER TO YOUR MOUNT'S AUTOGUIDER PORT! We connect StarSense Autoguider to one of the AUX ports of your mount, connecting it to the Autoguider port may damage StarSense Autoguider. • Auto Alignment - Aligns your telescope with the night sky in about three minutes without requiring user input, thanks to Celestron's patented StarSense technology. • Precise GoTo - increases the accuracy of finding Celestron mount objects by placing objects in the center of the field of view even when using high magnifications and small sensors. • Autoguiding - eliminates the need for a separate guiding camera, scope and control computer. StarSense Autoguider has everything in one device. • Easy polar alignment - a simple, automated process of polar alignment. • 4-element optical system - features a unique optical design by famous optical designer Mark Ackermann, with sharper optics than competing guide scopes. • Easy to operate - works with the NexStar+ handheld controller or CPWI telescope control software via a wired PC or WiFi connection.
