Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 is a smaller, lighter and even more functional successor to the best-selling Krypton XG50 attachment.
Model 2 XG50 is additionally equipped with an observation monocular with parameters 3x20B, which can be easily and quickly mounted to the back of the thermal imaging cap. After attaching the monocular, the device is transformed into an observation thermal imager with 3x magnification.
The presented model, similarly to its predecessor, uses a sensor with a resolution of 640x480 and a pixel size of 12 µm.
The attachment uses an AMOLED HD display with a higher resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, offering the sharpest image among thermal imaging attachments available on the market. The attachment is adapted to various types of optics with variable magnification, Pulsar Krypton turns the day scope into a powerful thermal imaging tool. The highest quality germanium lens with a focal length of 50 mm and a higher light intensity of F1.0 significantly improves the quality of observation of objects located at long distances and allows you to locate a target the size of a human figure at a distance of up to 2,300 meters. A high-quality sensor with a pixel size of 12 µm offers the user excellent thermal contrast and high sensitivity (NETD <40 mK) even in unfavorable weather conditions. Krypton caps are fully waterproof, they can be used in all weather conditions, at temperatures from -25 to +50 degrees. The housing has an IPX7 protection rating (which allows the device to be submerged to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes).
Thanks to the innovative adapter system, the cap can be mounted on any brand of telescope and all lens diameters. (adapter not included)
Installing the attachment on a day scope is simple, quick and repeatable, enabling smooth adjustment of the attachment's field of view and precise setting of it in relation to the aiming point of the telescope. An auxiliary cross has been added to the Krypton 2 attachment menu, facilitating precise synchronization with telescopes. ±. To maintain the best observation comfort while maintaining excellent image quality, the recommended magnification range in a daytime telescope is 2-6x.
The cap casing is made of a magnesium alloy, which perfectly dissipates heat from electronic systems and at the same time guarantees high resistance to recoil, even for the largest calibers.
The image of the Krypton 2 cap can be adjusted to your needs by setting the contrast, brightness and selecting one of the eight available color palettes.
The thermal imager has a built-in Wi-Fi module that allows connection to a mobile device on which you can run the StreamVision 2 application. This application allows you to remotely observe the image obtained by the thermal imager, and also allows you to control the binoculars via a smartphone or tablet.
An easily replaceable IPS7 battery with a capacity of 6400 mAh is used for power supply, allowing up to 11 hours of continuous operation. • the most modern microbolometer on the market Equipped with modern high-resolution 640x480 transducers and a unique pixel size of 12µm.
• frost-resistant AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels A high resolution HD 1920x1080 pixel display combined with high resistance to extreme temperatures ensures that the device will not let us down even in the most difficult conditions.
• modern PSP-B adapter The modern PSP-B adapter system used in the device allows for smooth adjustment of the cap's field of view and precise positioning of it in relation to the aiming point of the telescope. What's new is the use of a latch system that allows you to quickly detach the cap without having to dismantle the adapter from the riflescope.
• changing the sensitivity gain level The attachments feature a three-step change in the sensitivity gain level, which improves the quality of detection and recognition in various observation conditions. If the temperature contrast decreases (fog, precipitation, high humidity), it is recommended to increase the amplification level.
• smoothing filter A function that improves image quality, thanks to which we can reduce digital distortions while maintaining a high level of sensitivity.
• color palettes Various image color palettes are available in Pulsar Krypton 2 attachments - the user has as many as 8 versions at their disposal. (White Hot, Black Hot, Hot Red, RedMonochrome, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Violet, Sepia)
• water resistance The device has an IPX7 waterproof rating, which means it is completely waterproof (immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes).
• built-in video/photo recorder with ± 16 GB memory The viewfinder has a built-in video and photo recorder with a capacity of 16 GB. The USB-C port allows you to transfer recordings from the thermal imager to a computer.
• high mechanical resistance: 6000J Pulsar products are the only ones that provide resistance to large calibers - they can be freely used on weapons with a caliber of 375H&H or 9.3x64. Most competitive products are recommended for a maximum caliber of .308 Win
• extreme detection range The use of high-quality germanium optics ensures a detection range of up to 2300 m
• built-in Wi-Fi module, Polish-language Stream Vision 2 application. Kryton 2 attachments can communicate with external mobile devices on which, using the free, Polish-language StreamVision 2 application, you can: view the image, save photos and videos in the phone or tablet memory, control the advanced functions of the thermal imager, save files in the free cloud and update the device, equipping the viewfinder with increasingly better functions.
• power supply via a dedicated B-Pack battery Pulsar offers batteries with different capacities for the Krypton XG50 attachment: IPS7, IPS14.
• quick start Compared to older devices, the startup time has been shortened to 3 seconds.
• recommended magnification of the daytime telescope is 2-6x To optimally use the attachment's capabilities, it is recommended to use it on telescopes with a magnification of 2-6x.
• easy to use Intuitive operation combined with modern technology gives us an effective, but also comfortable to use thermal imaging cap.
• wide temperature range The Krypton attachment can be used at any time of the year - the device operates in the range from -25 to +50 degrees Celsius.
• display OFF The "Display OFF" function instantly turns the display on/off without turning off the device, saving battery power and making it easier to remain unnoticed in the dark.
• USB cable with USB-C adapter A USB cable with a USB-C adapter has two functions: it can be used as a charging cable for the device or as a cable to connect the device to the computer.
• menu in Polish To facilitate the operation of the devices, Pulsar products are equipped with menus in Polish
