StarSense Explorer is a family of telescopes developed by Celestron that sets a new direction in the convenience and comfort of visual observations of the night sky. The hallmark of this series of instruments is the childlike ease of finding interesting objects, thanks to the use of smartphones and the user-friendly StarSense Explorer App™, which recognizes star systems through the advanced LISA algorithm ( Lost in Space Algorithm ), and then searching for currently visible celestial bodies.

Celestron StarSense Explorer DX 5" SCT is a high-class Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with an aperture of 5" and aperture f/10, collecting over three hundred times more light than the human eye can register under the same conditions. The excellent optics of this telescope will allow you to enjoy a breathtaking view with very good sharpness, contrast and virtually imperceptible chromatic aberration. This instrument is equipped with mirrors coated with StarBright XLT™ with increased optical efficiency.

The set also includes a light azimuth mount mounted on a handy and stable tripod. The assembly is equipped with convenient knobs for adjusting the position of the set in both axes, thanks to which you can smoothly and intuitively follow the observed objects, keeping them in the center of the telescope's field of view.
