Delta Optical microscope cameras from the DLT-Cam PRO series are devices designed to work with various models of microscopes. Thanks to the optical adapters attached to them, it is possible to use them with microscopes that have eyepiece tubes or additional camera outputs (third optical tracks) with a diameter of 23.2 mm. They can also be placed in eyepiece tubes with diameters of 30 and 30.5 mm. The cameras also have a C-mount, so they can be connected to most microscopes available on the market.
The DLT-Cam Pro 8.3 MP USB 3.0 camera is characterized by very high sensitivity, which makes it an excellent tool for observing preparations in fluorescence, phase contrast or other techniques with a small amount of light . Thanks to its high sensitivity, it is much faster compared to other cameras with similar resolution, so it is an excellent solution for observing living objects (e.g. microorganisms) or moving objects.
Sony Exmor sensors have a low noise level. Cameras equipped with them can be used not only for traditional observations using the bright field technique, but also in the dark field, phase contrast and even fluorescence. High tonal dynamics allows you to record details in dark and light parts of the image in a way that is not available with other camera models.
Color reproduction is at a very high level. The effects obtained with these cameras are compared with CCD sensors, which have always been superior to CMOS matrices in this respect.
The cameras are supported by Delta Optical DLT-Cam Viewer software in Polish, used to capture photos and video recordings from the DLT-Cam PRO camera. The software is intuitive and has enormous possibilities to control the operating parameters of the device. The user can influence, among others: on: exposure times (auto/manual), contrast, gamma, saturation, ability to limit the camera's field of view. Setting the white and black balance manually and automatically - in relation to the selected live view area. Possibility of taking measurements and exporting them to MS Excel, composing focus stacking images, composing micropanoramas (both modes both on previously taken photos and in the live image), composing images with high tonal dynamics ( HDR), inserting a scale pattern, ability to apply filters, saving camera settings in the form of diagrams, independently selecting the resolution of live view and saved photos, counting functions, function of equalizing the lighting level in the field vision, noise reduction, live image sharpening. Function of taking photos during a selected time period (interval timer). Possibility to set digital binning and display a histogram, with the ability to adjust the range that can be displayed (also for RGB channels - separately).
The USB 3.0 interface allows for fast camera operation. It is possible to obtain smooth images even in low light conditions. It is therefore a universal device for a variety of applications. • matrix: Sony Exmor IMX485 (color) • matrix type: CMOS • matrix size: 11.14 x 6.26 mm, diagonal 1/1.2" • matrix resolution: 8.3 Mpx, 3840 x 2160 px • single pixel size: 2.9 x 2.9 µm • matrix sensitivity: 2188 mV @ 1/30 s • binning: 1 x 1 / 2 x 2 • matrix spectral range: 380 ÷ 650 nm (IR filter) • white balance setting: manual, ROI • photo saving formats: .jpg, .jp2, .png, .webp, .tft, .tif, .dng) • video recording formats: .mp4, .wmv, .avi) • data transfer connector: USB-C • compatible operating systems: Windows (Vista, 7, 8, 10, 11), OSX, Linux • compatible software: Delta Optical DLT-Cam Viewer • power supply: 5 V DC, 500 mA from the USB-C port • operating temperature range: - 10 ÷ 50°C • cooling type: passive • camera mount: C-mount • dimensions: 68 x 68 x 46 mm • DLT-Cam PRO 8.3 MP microscope camera • 30 mm adapter • 30.5 mm adapter • USB cable • connector for 23.2 mm tubes 24 months
