The Astronomik Deep-Sky RGB Filterset 2" (M48) (SKU: 10233200 / 8h00pn) is a high-end set of color filters designed for deep-sky astrophotography. These filters were specifically developed for modern CMOS and CCD cameras, delivering maximum image quality, excellent sharpness, wide dynamic contrast and vivid colors.

The set includes three filters: red (R), green (G) and blue (B). Their transmission characteristics are optimized to pass the most important emission lines used in deep-sky astrophotography, producing strong signals and natural, vibrant colors in the final images.

The filters were designed based on the sensitivity curves of commonly used astronomical cameras. Extensive laboratory measurements allowed Astronomik to achieve excellent color balance and optimal color contrast across a wide range of modern sensors.

The Astronomik coating technology ensures that no halos or reflections appear around bright stars. Even with very bright stars in the field of view, nebulae and galaxies can be captured with extremely fine structural detail.

Astronomik Deep-Sky RGB filters are recommended for use with modern cameras from manufacturers such as ZWO/ASI, QHY, QSI, SBIG, ATIK and ALTAIR. The set allows astrophotographers to create high-quality full-color deep-sky images that can easily be combined into an RGB composite.

Key features

• RGB filter set designed for deep-sky astrophotography
• includes three filters: R (red), G (green), B (blue)
• optimized transmission ranges for important emission lines
• very high transmission and strong image contrast
• no halos or reflections around bright stars
• compatible with modern CMOS and CCD cameras
• excellent color reproduction and color contrast

Included items

• Astronomik Deep-Sky R filter 2" (M48)
• Astronomik Deep-Sky G filter 2" (M48)
• Astronomik Deep-Sky B filter 2" (M48)
• durable protective filter box

Technical specifications

• type: RGB color filter set
• number of filters: 3 (R, G, B)
• standard: 2" (M48 thread)
• maximum transmission: typically 95% or higher
• radiation blocking: UV and IR
• glass thickness: 1 mm
