Orion Premium 1.25" is a set of twenty filters allowing for significant improvement of image contrast and detail in planetary observations.
The filters are made of an optical glass substrate and covered with an anti-reflective layer. Full characteristics of individual filters are presented below.
The filter holder is made of black anodized aluminum, making it light and resistant to damage. For additional protection during transport and storage, the filter set includes a metal packaging lined with foam along with a table presenting the applications of each filter. • high-quality planetary filters and color filters • substrate made of optical glass • double threaded frames made of anodized aluminum • filter type: planetary filters • Filter diameter: 1.25" • filter material: optical glass • frame material: black, anodized aluminum • helps bring out details of the Martian surface • improves the detail of the Jupiter and Saturn belts • enhances the contrast of the Martian surface • helps reduce chromatic aberrations in refractors • ideal for observing Mars' polar caps • improves the visibility of Jupiter's equatorial structures • improves the detail of red areas on the surface of Jupiter and Saturn • improves the visibility of Mars' polar regions • helps in observing dust storms on Mars • enhances the detail of structures in Jupiter's atmosphere • recommended for observing Jupiter's polar regions • improves the visibility of bands in Saturn's atmosphere • increases the contrast and detail of clouds on Venus • improves the visibility of clouds on Jupiter and Saturn • observations of transits of Jupiter's moons • enhances the contrast between the background and the disc of Mercury and Venus • red and blue structures on the surface of Mars • observations of Saturn's rings • observations of structures in Jupiter's atmosphere • increases the contrast between blue and green in observations of Uranus and Neptune • observations of clouds and details of the atmosphere of Venus • observations of clouds on Mars • observations of atmospheric phenomena on Mars • changes in the color of the Moon's disk • reduces the glow near the face of Venus visible in large telescopes • improves the detail of the image of the Moon's surface • improves the visibility of Mars' polar regions • observations of clouds on Mars • enables the observation of traces of solidified carbon dioxide on Mars • increases the visibility of bands in Jupiter's atmosphere • recommended for observing Saturn's rings • improves the detail of the Moon's surface in small telescopes • improves detail in red and blue areas in Jupiter's atmosphere • enables observations of the melting lines of glaciers on Mars • observations of fog on Mars • better detail in observations of atmospheric phenomena on Mars • improving the contrast of clouds and the Great Red Spot on Jupiter • better detail of clouds and ice caps on Mars • improves detail of orange and purple areas in the atmosphere of Jupiter and Saturn • enhances contrast in observations of the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn • Orion #8 1.25" filter • Orion #11 1.25" filter • Orion #12 1.25" filter • Orion #15 1.25" filter • Orion #21 1.25" filter • Orion #23 A 1.25" filter • Orion #25 1.25" filter • Orion #29 1.25" filter • Orion #30 1.25" filter • Orion #32 1.25" filter • Orion #38 A 1.25" filter • Orion #44 A 1.25" filter • Orion #46 1.25" filter • Orion #47 1.25" filter • Orion #56 1.25" filter • Orion #57 1.25" filter • Orion #58 1.25" filter • Orion #64 1.25" filter • Orion #80 A 1.25" filter • Orion #82 A 1.25" filter 12 months
